Hanley Swan Sports Journalism
Children in year 5 at Hanley Swan School took part in the Warriors Sports Journalism project in the Autumn Term. The children worked on aspects of radio reporting, designing a matchday magazine and designing matchday posters for Warriors matches. Some examples of their work will be shown here shortly.

Chawson Learn With The Warriors
Year 4 children at Chawson First School have been taking part in the Learning With The Warriors programme. The have already created a tally chart and graph to find out which team had won the 6 Nations Championship the most since 1960, used a map to locate European clubs and have performed the Haka like the New Zealand All Blacks. They have 2 more sessions remaining before half-term.

Warriors Rugby Camp
More than 70 young rugby players took part in the Warriors Rugby Camp at Kings Hawford School last week. As well as taking part in a variety of different rugby activities the players got the chance to meet Warriors players Aleki Lutui, Tom Arscott and Neil Best over the course of the three days. Simon Lane, Community Rugby Coach at Warriors, said; "The 3 day camp was a fantastic success, all the young players really enjoyed it and were delighted to meet Aleki, Tom and Neil. We now have rugby camps at Woodrush RFC and Ledbury RFC later this month to look forward to." Neil Best Visits Perrywood School
Irish international Neil Best paid a visit to children in Year 3 at Perrywood Primary School, to talk to them about Diet and Nutrition. The children have completed 5 weeks work on the Something To Chew On project, where they have taken part in various different lessons based around their diet, as well as having practical rugby sessions.

George Crook Visits Lickey End School
It's been a busy week for Something To Chew On Ambassador George Crook, as today he visited Year 3 at Lickey End First School in Bromsgrove. George helped the children learn about the 5 food groups, using the eatwell plate and some rubber food! The children then went outside and had a practical rugby session, where they learnt how to pass a rugby ball effectively. The children in Year 3 have 4 more Something To Chew On sessions this term.

George Crook Visits Harvington First School
Something To Chew On Ambassador George Crook visited the children in Miss Pearson's class at Harvington First School. The children are in the middle of the five week Something To Chew On project and spent the afternoon learning about the conditions plants and animals need to thrive in, and how this relates to the things they eat. George then helped them practice their tag rugby skills outside.
Something To Chew On is a health programme run by all Guinness Premiership clubs in partnership with the Food Standards Agency.

Clifton Soccer Saturday
Here is a short selection of the 'Soccer Saturday' programme recorded by Year 5/6 at Clifton Upon Teme. The children had to work in pairs to describe exciting (or not) elements of some of the weekends sport. Warning - a certain part of this video is quite loud!! Thanks James :-)

Warriors Sports Journalism Project
Children in Year 5/6 at Clifton Upon Teme school have recently taken part in a Sports Journalism project. The have designed a matchday magazine for Warriors game against London Irish, made a radio sports report in the style of Radio 5 Live and created their own Soccer Saturday TV programme.

Oldbury Park Sandwiches!
Two Year 4 classes at Oldbury Park School have completed the Something To Chew on project this term. The final session involves them creating a healthy sandwich for one of the Warriors players. There were several inventive and unique sandwiches, although Mr Miller was less than impressed with the state of his classroom!!!!
